MASTER OF APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY (M.A.P.)
Students enrolled in our program will earn a 42-credit Master of Applied Psychology (M.A.P.) degree, designed to provide a strong foundation in the scientific principles of psychology, along with specialized training in applied psychological practices. The curriculum reflects the mission of our school by emphasizing civic and global responsibility, social justice, and cultural diversity.
This comprehensive course of study equips students with the knowledge to understand both individual and group behavior. It also develops their ability to apply quantitative and qualitative research methods to examine the physical and environmental factors influencing human behavior. Additionally, students will gain an introductory understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies for psychological disorders while completing a full academic year practicum.
The M.A.P. program prepares graduates with the theoretical knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills necessary for success in both professional and academic settings.
